Aijent vs Intercom Fin · August 2026

Fin hands your visitor a scheduler.
Aijent makes the meeting.

Fin is a genuinely strong AI agent and the best support product in this comparison. Fin for Sales is a real inbound sales SKU. The differences that matter are what happens at the booking, and what happens to your bill.

The fact: Salesforce signed to acquire Intercom and Fin in June 2026. The deal has not yet closed.

Fin for Sales books through an embedded Calendly or Chili Piper widget. That is a separate product with its own subscription, and the video link is made by the scheduler rather than by Fin. Aijent creates a new Zoom, Teams or Google Meet for that booking inside the conversation, with nothing else to buy.

Then there is the bill. Fin charges per outcome, and a qualified lead costs roughly ten times a disqualification. The better it works, the more you pay. Aijent includes conversations in your tier up to its cap, so a good month costs the same as a quiet one.

Qualification is also their AI's judgement rather than your rule. With Aijent you set the thresholds, a fixed rule decides, and the same visitor always gets the same answer. You are never charged for a decline.

Fin is priced so that success costs you more.
Aijent is priced so that it does not.

Sources - all verified August 2026
  • Aijent: aijency.ai/pricing - $199/mo flat, 200 conversations included, no setup fee, no contract, and a 14-day trial with no credit card. Capabilities audited against the live production platform.
  • Intercom Fin pricing: One monthly seat at about $59, plus about $15 per qualified lead and $1.49 per other outcome, plus a separate scheduler at about $36. Reverse-engineered to the same 200 conversations Aijent includes, that is $390 to $800 a month, rising the more leads qualify. No setup or platform fees, and no contract required.
  • Intercom Fin sources: intercom.com/pricing and fin.ai/pricing, both re-read on 5 August 2026. A 50-outcome monthly minimum applies only when running Fin on a third-party helpdesk, not on Intercom itself.
  • All figures in Australian dollars, converted from USD at approximately US$1 = A$1.50, and shown as the cost to stand the product up from scratch rather than the cost of an existing instance.
