Included on every plan

Not every visitor
is a fit.

Two questions. Every visitor sorted.

You answer two questions when you set your Aijent up. From then on it weighs every conversation against your answers and tells you who was actually worth your time. It costs nothing extra, on any plan.

The two questions you answer

Answer them the way you would explain it to a new salesperson on their first day. Plain English, no rules to configure.

1

Who is your ideal customer?

The customers you most want to win. Their size, the person you would actually speak to, the budget, where they are, and the problem they come to you with.

2

Who should your Aijent politely screen out?

The leads you would rather not sit through. No budget, not the decision maker, wrong size, wanting something you do not offer, or simply not buying at all. This is the answer that does the work, and you can skip it.

Your Aijent reads your website alongside your answers, then turns all of it into the signals it will look for, plus worked examples of a lead to take and a lead to let go. Those examples matter: without a concrete example of a poor fit, an AI waves everyone through.

It knows a bad lead from an early one

This is the part that matters, and it is the reason most people are nervous about screening. Your Aijent is only allowed to judge who somebody is, never how they happen to be behaving in the first two minutes of a chat. Someone quietly doing their research in week one of a six month decision is exactly who you want, and they are never written off for it.

Never screened out for

  • Just browsing
  • Only researching
  • Not ready to buy yet
  • Has not mentioned budget
  • Asking a lot of questions
  • Being vague early on

All normal buying behaviour. None of it is allowed to count against a visitor.

Screened on instead

  • No budget for what you sell
  • Not the decision maker
  • The wrong size or segment
  • An industry you do not serve
  • Wanting something you do not offer
  • Not a commercial visitor at all

Facts about who they are, which do not change halfway through a conversation.

What you see afterwards

Every conversation is tagged, so your dashboard shows how many real prospects you had, not just how many chats happened.

Good fit

Matches what you said you want. Your Aijent gets on with it.

Poor fit

A real business, but not the one you asked for. Still helped, still recorded, and you decide what happens next.

Not a prospect

Not a genuine buyer at all. A bot, a test, or somebody with no commercial intent whatsoever.

  • Included on every plan, at no extra cost
  • Set up in two questions during onboarding, in your own words
  • Your website is read too, so it knows your business
  • Change your answers any time in your Aijent's settings
  • Skip it entirely and treat every visitor as a prospect
  • Runs on every conversation, not a sample
  • Poor-fit visitors are always let down politely
  • Every conversation is tagged so you can see the split
Growth and above

Some things are not
a judgement call.

Screening is your Aijent using judgement about who is a fit, and for most businesses that is the whole job. But if a project under $50,000 is never worth a meeting, or you only work in certain postcodes, that is a firm rule rather than an opinion. SureGate is where you write it yourself.
