The post-conversion message
What your Aijent says once someone has booked or taken your link.
The post-conversion message is what your Aijent says once somebody has booked or taken your link. It is set on the Config tab and applies to both outcomes. Most people leave it empty and get a polite thank-you, which wastes the most receptive moment you will get. Use it to help them prepare, set expectations, or ask for one small next thing.
Once a visitor has booked a meeting or taken your link, the conversation is not over. They are still there, and they are more receptive than they will ever be again.
Post-conversion message on the Config tab is what your Aijent says at that point.
It applies to both outcomes, so you set it once whether your Aijent books meetings or shares a link.
Why it is worth setting
Most businesses leave it empty and get a polite thank-you. That is a wasted moment. Somebody who has just committed is the most willing they will be all month, and you have their attention with no cost of acquisition.
What to put in it
Help them prepare. "Have a think about your top one or two questions beforehand" makes the meeting better and shows up in the quality of the call.
Set expectations. "You will get a confirmation by email, and a reminder the day before." Fewer no-shows, fewer "did it work?" emails.
Ask for the small next thing. Something easy to say no to:
- A newsletter
- A case study
- A useful guide
Tell them what happens next. "Someone from the team will look at your account before we speak, so it will not be a cold conversation."
What to avoid
Do not sell again. They have already said yes. Selling past the close is how you talk somebody back out of a decision.
Do not ask for much. One small thing lands. Three requests read as a form.
Do not add friction to what they just did. Nothing that makes them wonder whether they should have.
Keep it short
Two or three sentences. This is a warm closing remark, not a briefing document. People are already leaving.
Testing it
Run a real conversation through to a booking or a link, in a private window, and read what your Aijent says at the end. It is the last thing a converted visitor hears from you, so it is worth reading out loud once.
